WELCOME ADDRESS
Dear Colleague,
We are pleased to invite you to the 17th edition of the Prague Workshop on Catheter Ablation with Live Demonstrations. The tradition of the workshop together with continuing interest of many electrophysiologists fuel our efforts to organize the meeting even this year.
For this 17th edition we have invited again an outstanding international Faculty that will present a series of educational review lectures on different aspects of arrhythmia management and on strategies of catheter ablation. We believe that demonstration of novel strategies of catheter ablation from four EP labs (both from our centre and from Homolka Hospital in Prague) will provide again a lot of excitement in all participants and will help to achieve our mission. We also plan to devote some time at the end of the meeting to a tutorial of atrial flutter ablation, especially for less experienced operators.
As a part of the program, we have prepared for the participants „wet lab“ in which they can try different energy setups to observe radiofrequency lesion formation.
Traditionally, the scientific programme will be followed by a reception that will take place in a special area of the city of Prague.
We hope that you will find the workshop interesting and look forward to meeting you in Prague.
