WELCOME ADDRESS

Dear Colleague,

I would like to invite you to jubilee 15th International Prague Workshop on Catheter Ablation with Live Demonstrations. Although it is difficult to believe, already 15 years have passed since our first practical sessions on catheter ablation. During this period, many operators visited Prague and many different ablation strategies have been demonstrated. We feel that this effort has resulted in better knowledge of the topic by many participants. Last but not least, we believe that Prague Workshops contributed to networking among electrophysiologists from different countries and initiated many true friendships. All these achievements are in the lines with our main mission: to improve knowledge in the field of catheter ablation, especially in the Central and Eastern Europe.

For this 15th edition we have prepared a series of educational review lectures on different aspects of catheter ablation. The faculty consists of the distinguished experts in the field.

Less experienced of us could benefit from tutorial on catheter ablation of conventional substrates such as accessory pathways. However, we all will certainly enjoy watching different strategies of ablation of ventricular tachycardias, atrial fibrillation or atrial tachycardias. We also look forward to see some novel technologies, including novel catheter navigation system, remote navigation systems and/or laser balloon catheter.

Traditionally, the scientific programme is followed by a reception that will take place in a special area of the city of Prague.

We hope that you will find the workshop interesting and look forward to meeting you in Prague.
