WELCOME ADDRESS
Dear Colleague,
Welcome to the 14th International Prague Workshop on Catheter Ablation with Live Demonstrations. Similar to previous editions, we have prepared a series of educational review lectures on different aspects of catheter ablation, moving from anatomy to imaging and from ablation of ???simple??? arrhythmia substrates to more complex ones.
Less experienced electrophysiologists would enjoy tutorial on catheter ablation of atrial flutter and/or how to perform transseptal puncture with a possibility to test their abilities on a simulator. Those more experienced would watch different strategies of ablation of atrial fibrillation and observe some novel technologies, including electrical contact assessment, single shot devices such as cryoballoon, remote navigation system, etc. In addition, the plan is to demonstrate also left atrial appendage closure.
Traditionally, the scientific programme is followed by a reception that will take place in a special area of the city of Prague.
We hope that you will find the workshop interesting and look forward to meeting you in Prague.
